Landscape Design Summer Workshop
Award winning landscape designer, flower garden specialist, and home gardener coach, Maria von Brincken, will teach a four session workshop this July at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society (MHS).
- Perennials & Shrubs Color Gardens: Learn to Create Three Season Flower Gardens with Winter Appeal.
- This four session tutorial course will teach you how to use color and plants to design gardens filled with color from flowers and foliage.
- You’ll learn how to create beautiful plant combinations that flower from spring to frost for sun and shade.
- Experience hands-on practice sessions, make a landscape/garden color palette, and learn the system to design plant combinations in color sequences through the seasons.
- Tutorial walks in the Bressingham Garden will illustrate class lectures and exercises.
- Materials Provided. Measure your garden border and take photographs before the class.
- Dress for the weather.

Planting suggestions, quick sketches of small bed design include plantings, walks and more. Projects that the home gardener can accomplish so they too can have the beautiful eco-friendly landscape and gardens they dream about.
